Election 2012: Terry Link
Terry Link is running against Don Castella in the race for the state senator in District 30.
According to Terry Link's biography on his website, the Democratic senator was re-elected to a third term in the 30th District in 2002.
Born in Waukegan and a lifelong Lake County resident, Link attended North Chicago High School and then Stout State University.
Link was elected to the State Senate in November 1996.
