This year’s Honoree is Endeavor Health’s Chief Clinical Officer, Lakshmi Halasyamani, MD. She also leads the system’s Health Equity Strategy to provide quality, consumer-centric care that improves patient accessibility and overall public health. 
Guest speaker at the luncheon is Karen Kaul, MD, PhD, Chair, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Endeavor Health and Clinical Professor of Pathology at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Dr. Kaul will be speaking on the topic of personalized medicine and genomics. 
The MRW Health Resource Center serves to educate and aid people to make more informed decisions ultimately allowing them to have better outcomes and enjoy a healthier quality of life. 
Since 2006, the Benefit has funded the Myra Rubenstein Weis Living in the Future (LIFE) Cancer Survivorship Program, as well as a host of community based initiatives including diabetes and blood pressure screening, adolescent mental wellness programming, and breast cancer early detection education.

The Town &amp; Country Garden Club of Libertyville will host the 12th annual Hidden Gems Garden Walk on June 29, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.&nbsp;Five local gardens will be showcased, featuring native plants, no-mow grass, vegetable gardens, and diverse designs. Tickets are available <a href="https://www.towncountrygardenclub.com/gardenwalk" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">online</a>, at June Thursday Libertyville Farmers' Market, and at the Libertyville Village Hall.&nbsp;
Co-chair Ann Baker is full of enthusiasm about this year's lineup of homes. "We've listened to your feedback and are proud to present gardens that feature native plants, no-mow grass, and even vegetable gardens with resident chickens," she observes. These gardens are visually stunning, environmentally friendly, and provide habitat for local wildlife.

From cozy retreats to grand outdoor entertaining spaces, this year's selections offer something for every garden enthusiast. In addition, following last year’s successful debut, artists will once again be present at each home site. These include unique wood sculptures and bowls, upcycled home and garden decor, exquisite colored pencil fine art, and intricate illustrated nature drawings. 

Please note that ticket sales are capped this year to ensure the best possible experience for all attendees; be sure to check the event website and Facebook page for updates on availability.
