Pier 1 Imports Returns to Vernon Hills

Pier 1 opened a new store with natural elements this week. Giveaways are available to the first 200 customers each day through Aug. 4.

Pier 1 Imports has returned to Vernon Hills.

Just months after closing its Milwaukee Avenue location, which will be replaced with a newly built Chick-fil-A, Pier 1 opened July 29 in the Rivertree Court shopping center.

The store offers more than 7,800 square feet of furniture and home décor in its “new store concept” that features bamboo window awnings and a bamboo door, a natural-looking floor and ceiling, enhanced interior lighting and lit shelving units along the walls.
