Pier 1, Shoe Carnival Coming to Vernon Hills

Both stores will soon move into the Rivertree Court shopping center at 701 Milwaukee Ave.

The Rivertree Court shopping center will gain two more stores this year when Pier 1 Imports and Shoe Carnival open for business.

Inland Real Estate Corp., which owns the shopping center, announced Thursday that it has entered leases with both retailers. Pier I Imports will occupy a 10,400-square-foot space, while Shoe Carnival will operate from an 11,250-square-foot storefront.
