FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Do you have computer questions or need help with your computer? Visit the Lake County Area Computer Enthusiasts’ Free Help desk for one on one help 11:15 a.m.to 12:15 p.m. at the Grayslake Area Public Library, 100 Library Lane, Grayslake, on Saturday, September 13, 2014. This free service is open to anyone with an interest in computers. There will be someone there to help with Windows 7 & 8 questions and also phones and tablets. Meeting follows 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. TBA. After a brief L.C.A.C.E. business meeting, the program will start.

A nonprofit educational organization founded in 1983, Lake County Area Computer Enthusiasts (LCACE) promotes computer literacy among users of all computers. The group provides an opportunity to mingle with computer users of all levels-novice, hobbyist, and professional.

If you are a beginner and need help getting started, many members can assist you or get the information you need to begin using your computer. If you already have some computer knowledge, membership will help you develop and expand your skills. If you have specific interests, you may meet others with common interests who are willing to share their knowledge and experience with you. For experts, the club provides easy access to a vast amount of technical information to keep you up to date.

Come to the meeting. You’re guaranteed to learn something and you can become part of this “Members Helping Members” group. Membership in LCACE is open to anyone who has an interest in computing, from novice to expert. There are neither age limitations nor geographic restrictions for membership. The only requirement is a genuine interest in computers. For more information, phone club founder Dwight Johnson, (847) 623-3815 or visit www.lcace.org
