Real Urban Barbecue in Vernon Hills is Turning One!

To commemorate its first year of success in Vernon Hills, Real Urban Barbecue is hosting a Hungry
Home Wrecker Challenge with two local high schools, emceed and judged by the
existing champ, Jamie “The Bear” McDonald. 
Participants from the Vernon Hills High School and Stevenson High School
football teams will go head to head in the fight to claim the title of Hungry
Home Wrecker champion.  The team that
prevails will walk away with a great cash donation to their school’s athletic
department as well as some great bragging rights. Guests will enjoy a three-dimensional Big Pig Cake created
by West Town Bakery & Café, which will be served complimentary to guests
while supplies last.  Also, because it is
a birthday celebration for all, guests born on July 20 will receive their
entire meal for free (with valid i.d.).
