Refulgent Summer

Join the Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist
Congregation
and Rev. Dr. Nicole Kirk for this worship service focused on how as
we approach the end of summer, we contemplate the
powerful invitation Ralph Waldo Emerson gave in his Divinity School
Address given on July 15, 1838 to the Harvard Divinity School's
graduating class.  The first line of his address reads, “In this refulgent
summer, it has been a luxury to draw the breath of life.”  This sermon
will explore the crossroads of this famous historic Transcendentalist sermon
and modern day developments within Unitarian Universalism.

Childcare is available for ages up
to 3 and children’s religious education for preschool through high school runs
concurrent to the adult service.
