Visitation Today for Mary Jane Ferguson of Vernon Hills

Mary Jane Ferguson, 86, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born Oct. l5, l925, in Chicago, and had been a Vernon Hills resident for many years. Mary Jane and her family owned the Ferguson TV and Appliance Store in Libertyville, where she often gave sewing lessons as she had a sewing center as part of the store.

Surviving are four children, Ray Ferguson of Germany, Joanne (Michael) Butler of Sun Prairie, Wis., Jeff (Gail) Ferguson of Gurnee and Peg Ferguson (Tony Wisniewski) of Palatine; l0 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Ferguson, in 1986; and by her brothers, John and Bill Hynes.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Route 176), Libertyville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10., at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple, Libertyville. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery.
