Police Blotter: 3 Face Drug-Related Charges

These incidents were among the official reports of the Vernon Hills Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.

ALCOHOL

Margarget M. Doran, 46, of 1905 Country Drive, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a blood-alcohol content above .08 and improper right turn April 28 at Milwaukee Avenue and Town Center Road after police said she turn right from the through lane. Her court date is June 5 in Waukegan.

DRUGS

Steven A. Gallagher, 18, of 310 Chesterfield Lane, Vernon Hills, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after he was found in possession of ecstasy April 24 at Vernon Hills High School. His court date was not available.

Dana H. Corchin, 22, of 347 Haddon Circle, Vernon Hills, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after police found her in possession of heroin while they investigated a suspicious vehicle April 25 on the 200 block of Knollwood. Her court date was not available.

Matthew R. Tindale, 25, of 15 Woodridge Lane, Buffalo Grove, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia April 28 on the 200 block of Southwick Court after police responded to a complaint of loud music and found Tindale in possession of metal grinders and pipes used to smoke cannabis. His court date is June 13 in Mundelein.

FORGERY

Maria D. Passarello, 43, of 236 Annapolis Drive, Vernon Hills, was charged with forgery April 23 after police said she forged someone else’s signature to cash a check at a store on the 100 block of East Townline Road. Her court date is May 7 in Waukegan.

THEFT

Jason D. Neuhaus, 32, of 1096 Victoria St., Antioch, was charged with retail theft and battery April 22 at Sears, after police said he left the store without paying for cologne. When a loss prevention employee attempted to stop him, Neuhaus allegedly struck the employee. His court date is May 27 in Waukegan.

Angelica L. Perez, 18, of 3026 Gideon Ave., Zion, was charged with retail theft and possession of stolen property April 22 at Sears after police said she left the store without paying for a purse. She was also found in possession of items stolen from other stores in the mall. Her court date is June 13 in Mundelein.

Yarikza E. Rodriguez, 19, of 3244 Eschol Ave., Zion, and a 16-year-old girl were both charged with retail theft April 25 at JC Penney after they left the store without paying for $172 in merchandise. Their court dates are June 13 in Mundelein.
