Police Blotter: DUI; Misrepresenting Age

The Vernon Hills Police Department reports arrests from Aug. 12-16.

Misrepresentation of Age

Ricardo A. Lazaro, 20, of 809 Walnut St., Mundelein, was charged with misrepresentation of age by a minor Aug. 12 at Buffalo Wild Wings, 361 W. Townline Road. Police said he presented a fraudulent ID while trying to purchase alcohol. He was given a Sept. 13 court date.

Alcohol

Devin B. Altinkaya, 23, of 309 Surrey Lane, Lincolnshire, was charged with driving while license suspended Aug. 14 near Thorne Grove and Hidden Creek. Police said they found him parked in the middle of the road. He was cited for parking on the roadway. He was released on his drivers license and $100 cash pending an Oct. 3 court date.

Jae J. Lim, 18, of 940 Lakeside Drive, Vernon Hills, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor Aug. 14 on the 900 block of Lakeside Drive. He was released on a notice to appear in court Sept. 13.

Drugs

Jeffrey A. Goldenberg, 35, of 678 Quail Creek Drive, Grayslake, was charged with possession of cannabis during a traffic stop Aug. 16 near Butterfield Road and Gregg's Parkway. He was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and not having a rear license plate light. He was released on $120 cash bond pending an Oct. 11 court date.

Disorderly Conduct

Khash E. Batsaikhan, 24, of 1764 Tahoe Circle Drive, Wheeling, was charged with disorderly conduct Aug. 14 on the 900 block of Lakeside. Police said he was shooting a BB gun at bottles. He was released on a notice to appear in court Sept. 13.
