Police Blotter: Retail Theft Arrests

The Vernon Hills Police Department reports recent arrests.

Retail Theft

Mark B. Burns, 44, of 1603 16th St., North Chicago, was charged with retail theft June 21 at Walmart, 555 E. Townline Road. He was also cited for two counts of financial institution fraud. Police said he left the store without paying for a $598 television. He was remanded on $100,000 bond pending a July 18 court date.

Roy Robert Bridges, 65, of 3115 S. Archer Ave. No. 4, Chicago, was charged with retail theft July 4 at Kohl's, 235 N. Milwaukee Ave. Police said he left the store without paying for a fragrance. His court information was not available.
