Police Board Volunteers Needed
Two volunteers are needed to help serve as trustees on the village's police pension board.
The village's Police Pension Board is looking for two volunteers, a village news release states. Members need to maintain confidentiality and objectivity during disability determinations. They also need to review investment materials.
The board has four regularly scheduled meetings a year and occasional special meetings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with personnel issues such as disability claims, the release states. The ideal candidate will also have experience with the investment process One Trustee’s term expires May of 2014 and one Trustee’s term expires May of 2015. The candidate should live or work in Vernon Hills.
