School Health Clinic to Offer Contraception

A school-based health clinic proposed for Round Lake High School would be a first for Lake County.

Students attending Round Lake Area Unit District 116 will have access to contraceptives at a health center anticipated to open at the high school in 2014, reported the Daily Herald.

The school-based clinic would be the first of its kind in Lake County. The Lake County Health Department was awarded a $500,000 federal grant to help fund it, according to the Herald.
