Vernon Hills High School Athlete to Play Soccer for DePauw University

Vernon Hills High School senior Brad McGee, who is captain of the school's soccer team, will play for DePauw University after graduation.

It was a goal of Brad McGee, a Vernon Hills High School senior and athlete, to play college soccer. That goal will be realized upon graduation, as McGee has been recruited by Indiana's DePauw University to be a DePauw Tiger.

McGee has demonstrated the true meaning of student-athlete, according to NCSA Athletic Recruiting.

He has a 3.7 GPA with an ACT score of 32 and a PSAT score of 69. McGee is also member of the National Honor Society and Athletes Committed to Excellence.

As for playing college soccer, McGee is humble. "Although I would like to be a starter in my first year, I know the value of hard work and earning a spot on the starting lineup after a couple years."
