Vernon Hills to Host Charity Golf Outing

Calling all golfers!

The Village of Vernon Hills will host its 25th annual charity golf tournament Aug. 17 at Vernon Hills’ nine-hole golf course.

For the second year, the event’s proceeds will benefit The Lexi Kazian Foundation — Helping From Heaven, which is dedicated to improving the comfort and quality of life for children with special needs. It provides a variety of therapy equipment, builds playgrounds for special needs children, and creates a network and provides financial support for their families at local, national and international levels. The foundation also provides resources and scholarships for families and therapists in need of financial assistance and/or community support.
