Route 45 is being resurfaced and will be down to one lane in some areas at times. The project should be completed in November.
The Illinois Department of Transportation stated that the project would be in Mundelein, Indian Creek, Vernon Hills and Lincolnshire. The project began on July 29.
"Motorists are being alerted to traffic temporarily being reduced to one lane; therefore drivers are urged to pay close attention to the signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits, and be on the alert for workers and equipment," a press release on the village web site states.
