Do you have any extra items in your home that you haven't used in a while? But have no idea what to do with them. "Zealous Good," a new website, is making your life easier and the donating process more impactful.
Instead of dropping off your extra items at a thrift store or Goodwill, you can donate items directly to charities' that have made requests.
"Our main goal is to connect people and small businesses to local charities," said Megan Breehl, an expansion lead representative for Zealous Good.

The site's founder, Brittany Martin Graunke, wanted to find an easier way for charities to connect with donors and allow donors to donate without necessarily giving money all the time.

ZealousGood is expanding to the North, South and Western suburbs and help areas like Libertyville and Vernon Hills get more involved with their local charities.
