Stevenson Senior Named "Volunteer of the Year"

The Buffalo Grove Historical Society recently honored Stevenson High School senior Rena Patel for her volunteer efforts, theJournal & Topics reports.

Patel has been a volunteer with the Raupp Museum for three years, and was given the organization’s “Volunteeer of the Year” award last month. One of her many accomplishments include creating a museum exhibit on women empowerment in education, the newspaper reports.
